Beauty and the Beach - Delia

Made this after watching a lost episode of the 1st season of Pokémon on the weekend. It was known as "Holidays in Acapulco" in Japan, and the English title was to be "Beauty and the Beach". For those who don't know, the episode was banned in the rest of the countries because there is a scene where James crossdresses with a bikini and wears inflatable breasts (huge, by the way) for a beauty contest. I know he's gone crossdressing several times in the series, but I agree this was going a bit too far. I recall the final scene of the episoded was later aired in a flashback, though.

My first time at drawing Ash's mother, Delia Ketchum. Judging by the trophy, she seemingly won the beauty contest by default in the end. Well, I can't deny she's a pretty woman, and I like her very much, cause in personality she reminds me a lot of my own mother

Hice esto luego de ver un episodio perdido de la primera temporada de Pokémon el fin de semana. Se titulaba "Vacaciones en Acapulco" en Japón, y el título en inglés iba a ser "Beauty and the Beach". Para los que no lo sepan, el episodio fue censurado en el resto de los países porque hay una escena donde James se pone un bikini y usa unos pechos inflables (enormes, por cierto) para un concurso de belleza. Ya sé que varias veces le ha dado por vestirse de mujer en la serie, pero concuerdo en que ahí fue un poco demasiado lejos. Recuerdo que la escena final del episodio salió al aire más tarde en un flashback, sin embargo.

La primera vez que dibujo a la madre de Ash, Delia Ketchum. A juzgar por el trofeo, parece ser que ella ganó el concurso de belleza por default al final. Bueno, no puedo negar que es una mujer bonita, y me cae muy bien, viendo que en cuestiones de personalidad me recuerda bastante a mi propia madre
